An earth-leakage current transformer CT in the neutral-earth connection N, n of a transformer PT has a primary test winding T which is supplied through a voltage transformer VT and push-button PB connected between phases on the primary or (as shown) secondary side of the transformer PT, the current transformer secondary S being connected to a trip coil EC of the circuit-breaker CB.
