Abstract

Class 141 In a harness arrangement, attachment straps 6 from a parachute 3 or from a seat are releasably connected to the riser straps 4 of a body harness 1 by passing the straps 4 through the angled buckles 7 on the straps 6 before securing the straps 4 to the quick release box 2. In a seat safety harness, Fig. 2, the lap straps 8 are secured directly to the quick release box while the shoulder straps 9 each terminate in a slotted L-shaped buckle 10 through which the shank 5a of a lug 5 on the respective riser strap 4 is passed before attachment to the quick release box.
