Class 39(3) [Also in Group XIII] A warming device for bed pans &c. comprises a ventilated thermally uninsulated cabinet provided with electrical heating means, the power of the heating means and the heat dissipation capacity of the cabinet being so co-ordinated that a pre-determined steady temperature will be maintained in the cabinet without thermostatic control. As shown, the cabinet 1 has a completely open bottom 2, and a closed top 3 with louvres 4. The ends 5 and back are closed, and the front wall is mainly formed by a hinged door 6, which opens to a horizontal position, where it is supported by chains 7. Disposed longitudinally within the cabinet and just above the open bottom are two "block heat " heating elements 8, which have a terminal box 9 and an indicator lamp 11. An internal framework 12, 13, 14 holds bed pans in a tilted position, and a perforated shelf 15 is provided for urinal bottles.
