Classes 65(1) and 65(2) [Also in Group X] A swinging door formed of a sheet 9 of flexible material held on at least two of its sides by a framework comprising a pair of tubes 5, 6 supporting half-round portions 7a, 7b, 8a, 8b of corner plates 7, 8. and halfround portions 10 of top and side strips 11, the sheet being held between said plates and strips by bolts 12, is urged to the closed position by a pair of spring-biased arms 20, 23 engaging opposite sides of the door, a disc 19 integral with arm 20 being fixed to a vertical shaft 18 journalled in the door frame 1, a disc 22 integral with arm 23 being journalled on shaft 18, and a torsion spring 26, surrounding shaft 18, being secured at its respective ends to disc 22 and to a sleeve 27 fixed to the lower end of shaft 18. As shown, disc 22 is integral with a sleeve 21 adjustably fixable to a surrounding cup-shaped part 24 by means of a pin 29 passing through any one of a series of radial holes in part 24, and the upper end of spring 26 is secured to the latter. Both arms engage the opposite sides of a fixed abutment 31 in the closed position of the door. An anti-friction washer 32 is inserted between the discs. Sleeves 5a, fixed in the ends of the vertical tube 5 of the door framework, have projecting portions journalled in ball bearings 3 mounted in the door frame 1.
