Abstract

The rotor (12) to which impact grinding tools (19) are coupled is arranged in the housing (11). Two box-like doors (35, 36) which can be pivoted out laterally are coupled to the housing (11). A screen frame (39) for receiving a screen (43) is attached thereto. When the door is closed, the screen (43) is clamped in between the screen frame (39) and rings (46) attached to the housing (11). On the lower part (51), projecting out of the door, of the screen frame (39), arms (53) are attached which are provided with bearing slots (54) which are open on one side. The pivot axis (58) of the door (35) is arranged near to the vertical plane through the axis of the rotor and underneath the rotor (12) and the lowest point of the door (35). Thanks to the low, central position of the pivot axis (58), in the event of a movement of the door (35) there is no overlapping with the region of the rotor (12) although the screen (43) occupies a very large part of the circumference of this rotor (12).
