Class 29 [Also in Groups XVIII and XXIX] An additive for a heat exchange liquid containing a glycol or an aqueous solution thereof, comprises a water-soluble amine, sodium benzoate and sodium nitrite. The amine is a naphthylamine, a ketoneamine, a diamine, or a salt of an aliphatic or aromatic primary, secondary or tertiary amine with an inorganic or organic acid. Examples of amines are phenyl - a - naphthylamine, phenyl - /3 - naphthylamine, acetonylamine and 2, 5 - diamino - phenol. The composition may include a polyglycol.
