Abstract
A thallophyticidal composition comprising a carrier gas active ingredient an amine complex of a triarylborane preferably in an amount of not less than 0.1 parts per million. Specified amine complexes are those formed with ammonia, monomethylamine, dimethylamine, trimethylamine butylamine, aniline, phenylhydrazine, benzylamine, morpholine, cyclohexylamine, diethylaminoethylamine, ethanolamine, naphthylamine, pyridine, quinoline, piperidine, pyrimidine, pyrrole, aminopyridine, quinoline, ethylene diamine, polyvinyl pyridine and like substances possessing a basic nitrogen atom, in which the aryl radical may be phenyl parafluorophenyl, p-methoxy phenol, p-tolyl, a -naphthyl anisyl, benzyl p-kylyl, phenetyl. Specified inert diluents are water, aqueous solvents such as pyridine, morpholine, dioxane and tetrahydrofuran, inert powders such as finely divided chalk, diatomaceous earth, oil-water emulsions. Wetting agents, buffers and thickening agents may also be incorporated.
