Class 126 The door of a cooking oven comprises a lower drop-down part 2, Fig. 1, and an upper part 3 hinged to the lower part so that the upper part 3 may be lowered to the horizontal position. The upper part is also connected to the lower part by side links 12, Fig. 5, carrying pins 14 sliding in slotted plates 16 welded to the lower part. The parts may be locked together by a latch 6, Fig. 3, operated by rotatable knob 7 and engageable in the space between a wall of the lower part and a plate 8 secured to said part.
