798,040. Door-operating devices. SIMPLEX ELECTRIC CO., Ltd. Feb. 15, 1957 [Feb. 17, 1956], No. 4938/56. Class 65(1) [Also in Groups XI and XIII] A door 10, Figs. 1, 2, for ovens, refrigerators, &c., is pivotally mounted along its lower edge and balanced in all positions by a weight 11 pivoted along its upper edge. As shown the door has trunnions 16 at its ends supported in bearings 19 attached to the front of the oven and carrying gear wheels 17 meshing with gear wheels 20 carried by trunnions 21 on the weight. Thus, the door and its balance-weight turn in opposite directions
