Class 44 A fastener 10 is formed from a T-shaped blank, the stem of the T being bent about a line joining the stem and the cross-arm 11 of the T to lie over the cross arm in the form of a wholly concave spring portion 15 of elongate C-shape having two snap - engaging elbows, 16 and 17 the major external axis of the C being greater than the width of the cross-arm 11, while the cross arm is provided with means for securing the fastener to a panel. As shown the cross arm is formed with fixing holes 13, 14 and with a cut away 12, the free end 19 of the stem being brought adjacent the cutaway and a little below it. A plurality of fasteners is secured to a panel to secure thereto a beading 21 which is snapped over the elbows 16 and 17.
