791,143. Clamp fastenings. KNIGHT, H. Sept. 21, 1955 [Jan. 20, 1955], No. 27008/55. Class 44 [Also in Group XIV] A tie support comprises an open frame having spaced top and bottom rails 3, 4, and a resilient strip 18 secured along its top edge to the top rail and having its lower edge close to the bottom rail to grip a tie 10. Side members 5, 6 of the frame and flanged and apertured for mounting in a cupboard &c. or the frame may be suspended by a hook. The resilient strip 18 is of rubber and is provided with a fabric cover. In a modification the frame is moulded in two parts of a synthetic resin, the parts being secured together by adhesive and forming a groove receiving the upper edge of the resilient strip.
