Class 52(5) A synthetic plastic curtain rail 10 and bracket 11 assembly has the mounting surfaces 113a, 113b of the bracket inclined as described in the Parent Specification so that, when the bracket is fixed in place, a slot 112 therein is canted to grip the enlarged or flanged upper part 101 of the rail. Various shapes of the upper part of the rail are descibed.
