788,825. Rope grips. TRANSMISSION ACCESSORIES, Ltd., and BEECH, A. S. Dec. 12, 1955, No. 35635/55. Class 78 (2). An overhead conveyer comprises a plurality of runners 50, each having rollers 19 to run along an overhead I-beam support, a plurality of separate cable lengths 16 each having a head 15 at each end, and clamping means 11, 12 to clamp the corresponding cable lengths to it by their heads, the cable lengths being in line with one another to form a continuous moving cable. As shown, the load is carried by a hanger skip attached at 22 to the runner 50, the weight being taken by the I-beam support (not shown) and the drive being derived from the driving cable composed of the separate cable lengths 16.
