Abstract

788,142. Batch-mixing machines. ULRICHS, O., [trading as HAAGEN & RINAU]. April 17, 1956 [April 23, 1955], No. 11614/56. Class 86 In a mixing machine for foodstuffs. comprising a tiltable bowl 1 and a stirring implement 21 rotatably mounted in a stirring head 8 adapted to carry out a circulatory movement about the axis of the bowl, pole-changeable motors 12, 13 are provided for driving respectively the planetary stirring head 8 and the stirring implement 21 and a motor driven device, not shown, effects the tilting of the bowl. The stirring head 8, with its gear parts, is removably attached by screws 27 to a hollow spindle 9 and can be replaced by a stirring head of alternative design as shown in Fig. 3. Multiple switches for the control of the motors 12, 13 permit operation in both directions of rotation with a plurality of speeds of rotation. Heating or cooling medium is supplied to a jacket 7 surrounding the bowl.
