917,202. Lathes. HALZER, C., and BUSCHE, M. VON, [trading as KIESERLING & ALBRECHT, Th.]. Aug. 3, 1960 [Sept. 4, 1959], No. 26952/60. Class 83 (3). A lathe comprises a hollow cutter head 2 rotated by a variable drive motor 4, interlocked with a further variable drive motor 8, for rotating rollers 7 which feed work 6 through the head, the interlock 11 serving to maintain a constant ratio between the speeds of the motors. The motors, which may be electric or fluid pressure, have separate controls and the interlock may be disengaged. The rollers prevent rotation of the work and are adjusted by wheels 12.
