Abstract
787,708. Cathode-ray tubes. PHILIPS ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES, Ltd. Nov. 25, 1955 [Nov. 29, 1954], No. 33839/55. Class 39(1). Layers of colloidal graphite applied as electrolyte stabilized suspensions in water and then dried are afterwards wetted by spraying, sprinkling or immersion in water having a temperature of at least 50C. The suspension may comprise colloidal graphite, acetic acid and a synthetic resin. The warm water, preferably at 55-60C., is applied before the layer has cooled. The conductive layer of graphite is produced on an insulating surface, e.g., the outer surface of a C.R.T.
