Class 137 Hot air collected by removable shells 23, 24, and 31 surrounding the usual radiator fan 21, particularly of a rear-engined car, passes through rubber tubes 25, 26 and is conveyed by ducts 36 carried by the side sills 33 of the vehicle body and by the hollow scuttle supports 37 into two deicing outles 42 under the windscreen. Hot air may also be passed from the shell 23 through a connection 27 and a textile pipe 28 passing along the back of the rear seat, Fig. 2, and ending in a flap valve 29 below the back seat.
