In a modification of a joint according to the parent Specification, wherein a terminal wire 4 of a component 1 and a terminal post 3 are secured together in parallel contact by a separate piece of wire 5, the component is located on one side of a base-plate 2 and the terminal post is located on the other side, the wire 4 being passed through a hole in the plate to make the joint. The terminal post may form one leg of a U-shaped link member 6, Fig. 2, each leg being used as a terminal to connect together components 7, 8. Alternatively, Fig. 3, one leg of each of two U-shaped members 11, 12 may be used as a terminal for one of two components, the binding wire 13 used for making the joints also serving to interconnect the members. This arrangement may be modified by making the interconnection with an independent piece of wire 16, Fig. 4, between the legs of the U-members which were unused in Fig. 3. A link-member having more than two limbs may be used to interconnect a plurality of components as shown in Fig. 9, such a link member being formed from a ladder-shaped blank which is cut along its longitudinal axis. Circuit assemblies using the above interconnections are diagrammatically illustrated.
