784,368. Walls; floors and roofs. AKTIEBOLAGET YTONGHUS. Oct. 19, 1955 [Oct. 27, 1954; Dec. 13, 1954], No. 29878/55. Class 20(4) In the construction of walls 11, 13 or 14, floors 12 or roofs 15, elongated elements are formed rectangular in cross-section; of a length equal to the height of a storey for example or width of a room, with substantially flat and parallel opposing surfaces and the width of an element a multiple of its thickness, the elements being abutted along their wide sides and attached to each other as by nailing trough their abutting surfaces and applying a water insoluble binder to the surfaces. In the construction of a house, a layer of cement mortar is applied on the base 10 and a first element of the wall 11 erected and stayed. The next element is then placed directly against the first and connected by nailing. The next element is similarly secured and covers the first nails so that they cannot corode. The floor 12, first storey walls 13, 14 and roof 15 are similarly erected.
