[Also in Group XXXV] The subject-matter of this Specification was included in Specification 781,042, but the claim is directed to an arrangement for measuring the moisture content of tobacco in which a substantially constant mass flow of tobacco moves through an impedance measuring device the electrical output of which is averaged to eliminate fluctuations due to variations in mass and thereby provide a measurement of moisture content.
