Abstract

780,157. Injectors. FORD MOTOR CO., Ltd. Jan. 6, 1956 [Jan. 6, 1955], No. 554/56. Class 71. Liquid, e.g. petrol is induced from a conduit 13 through openings 14 in the throat 11 of a venturi 10 and is discharged through a conduit 20 at one end of the venturi by an oscillating flow of the liquid through the throat of the venturi effected by a magnetically vibrated diaphragm 15 at the other end of the venturi. The outlet end of the venturi is closed by a diaphragm 17 behind which is provided a surge chamber 19.
