Abstract
774,940. Lubricating. SATZGER, E. March 28, 1955 [March 29, 1954], No. 8950/55. Class 12 (3). A pump 1 has one or more outlets 6, 7 connected through a reversing device 12 to pressure pipes 13, 14 for supplying lubricant to dosing elements 15, 16 in definite quantities, and other outlets 2 ... 5 for continuously supplying lubricant to points 10. The dosing elements receive the lubricant under pressure and release it to points 17 when the pressure is relieved. When one pipe 13 is under pressure the other pipe 14 is connected by a pipe 19 to the suction side of the pump 1. The reversing device 12 comes into operation automatically when the pressure in the pressure pipe reaches a predetermined value. In a modification the reversing device is operated mechanically through the drive shaft of the pump.
