Abstract
774,232. Electric motors. TELEFUNKEN, GES. Feb. 15, 1955 [Feb. 18, 1954], No. 4408/55. Class 35. In order to minimize the stray flux emanating from the stator winding of an induction. motor the stator winding is formed in sections so located on the U- shaped yoke that the stray flux due to one section is substantially neutralized by that due to the other. Fig. 1 shows a shaded-pole single-phase motor having a field winding comprising two similar sections 6, 7 so located opposite each other on sections 11, 1<SP>11</SP> of the stator yoke that the effective resultant stray flux due to both sections 6, 7 is substantially without any magnitude. The magnetic circuit is completed by a separate member 5.
