[Also in Groups XXII and XXIV] The mould parts of an injectionmoulding machine are closed and locked by a special toggle device compris;ng long links 40 and short links 55, the device being moved from the Fig. 2 position to the Fig. 3 position, during which movement the links 55 are brought to engage a shaft 20 and pivot thereabout to straighten the toggle. The device is moved by a hydraulic piston 30.
