Abstract

912,608. Moulding-machines. MALCUS HOLMQUIST A.B. June 26, 1961 [Dec. 19, 1960], No. 23113/61. Class 83 (1). A mould assembly apparatus comprises a stand 6 situated between moulding machines 1, 4 for lower and upper mould parts 3, 5 respectively, the stand having a lower, vertically-movable conveyer 10 for receiving the lower mould box and an upper verticallymovable conveyer 12 for receiving the upper mould box. The stand is rotatably mounted on a plate 7 so that it may be swung through 90 degrees after receiving the boxes, cores inserted, the upper box 5 lowered on to the lower box 3 and the assembled mould moved on to another conveyer. The mould boxes are aligned with each other by hydraulically or pneumatically-actuated guide pins 14. In a modification, moulding machine 1 is similar to machine 4, and an inverting device is positioned between the machine 1 and the assembling apparatus.
