Abstract

- 769,671. Controlling trollies of overhead hoists. HEIDENSTAM, E. J. VON. Oct. 31, 1952 [April 30, 1952], No. 27424/52. Class 78 (4). [Also in Group X] A telfer 27 for hoisting floor units 33, during building construction, from ground floor level, and transporting them horizontally to their laying position runs on a beam 28 and comprises a guide shoe 38, Figs. 3 and 4, which is moved along the beam 28 to act as a stop for the telfer at each position for laying another floor unit. The shoe 38 is moved by a friction roller 42 actuated by a chain 43 and is locked in each position by a manually-operated spring stop 44. The motor of the telfer is controlled by pushbuttons on an operating handle 40 on operating wire 39 which can be wound on a roller 52 to adjust its height for convenience of operation.
