766,906. Sweeping floors. WILSON, C. E. Sept. 15. 1955 [June 15, 1954], No. 17556/54. Class 138(1). [Also in Group X] A road &c. sweeping machine comprises a frame 1 on wheels 2, having a brush 19 supported on arms 18 for circular movement by eccentric pins on discs 17, 21 which are so geared to the road wheels as to allow the brush to perform a series of overlapping sweeping -strokes as the machine is propelled manually by handle 5, as a pedal tricycle or by motor power. A scraper or shovel can replace the brush. A collecting box can be provided for the sweepings and if used for removing leaves these may be ground up on the machine.
