Classes 87(1) and 107 A kerb block 1 which may be of reinforced concrete is formed with transverse dovetail or other undercut recesses 2 in its lower face. The top face 5 may be flat or convex in .transverse section. The mortar bed on which the blocks are laid is covered by benchings which extend to different heights on the two sides of the kerb.
