Abstract

1,221,611. Paving blocks. R. JORDAN. 26 Feb., 1969 [26 Feb., 1968], No. 10174/69. Heading E1B. A concrete paving block shown inverted has a upper rectangular portion M and a lower portion N formed with alternating triangular projections A, E, F and G and recesses 1-6. The recesses 1 and 2 are provided to allow the blocks to be laid in herring-bone arrangement. The surface f is twice the length of the parallel surface e: In modification the end recesses 1 and 2 are-omitted or corresponding projections are provided in the end faces. The blocks are moulded in a two part mould which divides in the directions R and S.
