Abstract
In making articles having a coloured outer resinous layer, the layer of resin, containing a dye and/or pigment, is deposited in or on a mould, and then a main body of resin-impregnated fibres are applied to the layer and moulded in the usual way. The main body itself may be tinted. Polymerisation of the layer may be effected before the moulding operation. The resin may be a polyester.
