761,924. Wrapper. DICKINSON & CO., Ltd., J. July 4, 1955 [July 8, 1954 ; March 22, 1955], Nos. 19985/54 and 8307/55. Class 94(1). A wrapper comprises in one form, Fig. 1, an opaque or semi-opaque paper sheet 10, which is creased to form panels 10<SP>1</SP>, 102 and 103, and a transparent sheet 13 which is gummed to the sheet 10 along its edges 8, 9 to form a pocket for the reception of an article or articles, e.g. of hosiery, the panels 10<SP>2</SP>, 10<SP>3</SP> being foldable over the sheet 13 to protect the articles from the action of light rays. In modifications, Figs. 4-7 (not shown), the sheet 13 is gummed to the sheet 10 along two adjacent edges and part of the third edge to form a pocket open at one corner, along its vertical edges to form a pocket open at its upper and lower ends, or along its vertical and bottom edges to form a pocket open at its upper end. In a second form, Fig. 8a, the sheet 13 is gummed to the sheet 10 along its vertical and bottom edges and the sheet 10 is creased to define an additional panel 21 forming a gusset at one side of the pocket. A similar gusset may be formed at the other side. In a modification, Fig. 9a, the sheet 101 is formed with gusset folds 22, 23 to which the sheet 13 is gummed. In a third form, Fig. 10a, the sheet 13 is folded to form a side panel 24. An inspection opening such as 25, which may be covered with transparent material, may be punched in the sheet 10.
