Abstract

761,802. Transistor generating circuits. MULLARD RADIO VALVE CO., Ltd. Feb. 7. 1955 [April 5, 1954], No. 9900/54. Class 40(6) In a sine wave oscillator, a series circuit Lc, Cc, Fig. 1, is connected in the collector circuit of a transistor T having a less than unity while feedback is applied to the base. The feedback may be over a coupling coil Lb and capacitor Cb, the latter being adjustea so that the circuit Lb, Cb resonates. In a modification, Fig. 2, the capacitor Cb is connected to the join of elements Cc, Lc. The circuit may be regarded as a filter feeding back to the base, Fig. 4 (not shown). Small variations of frequency may be obtained by varying capacitor Cc and larger variations by varying both capacitors Cb, Cc.
