761,700. Fluid-pressure servomotor control systems. BENDIX AVIATION CORPORATION. June 1, 1954 [June 8, 1953], No. 16218/54. Class 135. A piston valve 22 controlling working ports 13, 14 is actuated hydraulically under the control of a pilot valve 19 which is moved in either direction from a neutral position by an.electric torque-motor 25, and a spring arm 30 interconnecting the main valve 22 and the torque motor applies a returning force to the pilot valve so that the latter regains its neutral position when the main valve has been moved an amount proportional to the current supplied to the torque motor. The main and pilot valves have common supply and exhaust conduits 11, 12. Annular chambers 17d, 17e in the pilot valve body connect with actuating chambers at the ends of the main valve.
