759,941. Garden trowels. STAINLESS DEVELOPMENTS, Ltd. Feb. 4, 1955 [Feb. 1, 1954], No. 2948/54. Class 6 (2). [Also in Group XXIII] A garden trowel comprises a blade 1 of sheet metal, preferably stainless steel, bent to arcuate shape, and a handle 18 secured inside the upper part of the channel, the blade being formed with a series of graduation marks parallel to the axis. The blade is formed with a pointed lower end and is strengthened by bending near the lower end of the handle. The handle is mainly of circular crosssection and the adjacent part of the blade is bent to accommodate it and extends for more than half its length. The handle is provided with acut-away portion 20, 22, 23 to provide a support for the thumb.
