Abstract

1,114,127. Fixing roof sheets. R. ZURBURG and R. FRETZ [trading as ZURBURG & FRETZ], 3 Aug., 1965 [3 Aug., 1964], No. 33223/65. Heading E1W. A device for fixing the end of a roof sheet in position comprises a metal holder 3, having a hollow rectangular-sectioned bracket-receiving portion, and two downwardly extending, divergent central flanges 4 (Fig. 2, not shown) by means of which the holder is connected into the roof, in which holder a flat, L-sectioned bracket 10 can be located at varying points along the length of the bracket-receiving portion by means of a metal locating strip 7 which is initially of L-section, and which has its end margin 7b bent back ever the outside of the bracket receiving portion at the appropriate point along the length of the long flange.
