Class 61 In a wrench compris- ing a handle 4 having at one end a fixed jaw 5, a movable jaw 6 pivoted on the handle a hand lever 10 pivoted at' 9 to the jaw 6. a toggle link 13 interconnecting the lever and handle and supported at one end on an adjustable abutment 14 in the handle, a release trigger 17 pivoted on the hand lever 10 is provided. The adjustable abutment 14 is accommodated in a socket 15 on the handle 4, the enlarged end 18 of the toggle link being supported by the abutment and accommodated in the socket throughout the whole of the normal range of adjustment. The release trigger 17 has a bowed part thereon adapted to roll along the surface 16 on the socket 15, when actuated to release the wrench.
