758,429. Cigarettes. ECUSTA PAPER CORPORATION. Nov. 11, 1954 [Aug. 10, 1954], No. 32669/54. Class 130. A porous wrapper zone or an aperture or apertures 4 admit air to a filter-tip cigarette, as described either directly to the tip 3, to the tobacco immediately upstream thereof, or downstream thereof through a paper mouthpiece (not shown). The apertures 4 may be so sized as to make the flow resistance of the cigarette equal to that of a filterless cigarette. The tip 3 may be of crumpled tissue paper and include. activated charcoal, cuprous chloride or aluminium hydroxide. Specification 768,381 is referred to.
