758,348. Securing upholstery. F. T. PRODUCTS, Ltd. Jan. 22, 1954 [Jan. 27, 1953], No. 2378/53. Class 52(4). [Also in Group XXV] Covering fabric 38 for a seat is secured to a rod or tube 39 of the seat base frame by C-shaped resilient clips 37, each with an inwardly and rearwardly directed prong or barb 27, 28 in each arm of the clip which can be applied to the inner face of the tube so as to be practically out of sight. Supplementary clips without prongs may be applied over each of the clips 37 to reinforce their grip or the clips themselves may be stiffened by a central rib. Specification 686,233 is referred to.
