752,215. Attaching upholstery covers. EVERTAUT, Ltd. Dec. 16, 1954 [Jan. 11, 1954], No. 684/54. Class 52(4). A cover 4 for an upholstered seat frame 2 is held in place by a resilient edging 5 overlapping and secured to the edge of the cover at 8 and having a groove 7 taking over the depending rim 3 of the frame 2. Edging 5 may be extruded from rubber or polyvinyl chloride and is secured to the cover by cementing, heat-welding or stitching. The cover may be made of textile, textile coated with polyvinyl chloride, or a thermoplastic composition such as polyvinyl chloride. The upholstery 1 may be sponge rubber or coiled springs.
