Abstract

565,221. Seats, beds, &c. HORSFORD, M. A. March 9, 1943, No. 3829. [Classes 52 (ii) and 52 (iv)] A resilient surface for seats, beds, &c. is composed of a series of spaced flat rubber strips provided at their ends with preformed openings to receive anchoring members carried by the frame. The strips may be parallel or interlaced. The openings 4 may have eyelets 5 secured by nails to the frame 2. The preformed openings may also be formed by doubling the ends of the strips on themselves to form loops 7 which are secured by adhesive or by rivets &c., the loops then being mounted on a frame 9.
