Abstract

873,245. Buttons. PIDCOCK, R. A. N., and PIDCOCK, C. W. Jan. 1, 1959 [Oct. 5. 1957], No. 31252/57. Class 43 [Also in Groups XXV and XXXIII]. A fastening means for a rope (see Group XXV) applicable on a reduced scale, for use as a fastener for overgarments for example oilskins, overcoats and gloves, consists of a unitary rubber drum 1 and discs 2 and 4, the opposed faces of which converge inwards at an angle of about 20-24 degrees and have ridges thereon concentric with the drum. Holes, not shown, are provided by which the fastener may be secured to a support.
