Abstract

794,714. Mudguards. VOS, N. Jan. 16, 1957 [Jan. 17, 1956], No. 1570/57. Class 136(1) A mudguard flap of rubber or other resilient material is secured to the mudguard by two pairs of members 4, 5 each adapted to embrace forkwise a mudguard supporting rod 3, a pin 9 being embedded in each member 4 and being adapted to be inserted in a passage 10 in the adjacent member 5. The members 4, 5 are formed from the resilient material of the mudflap. To prevent rattling the central portion of the pin may be coated with resilient material as shown at 13. Knobs 11, 12 are provided on the pin 9 to prevent its unintentional disengagement from the members 4, 5.
