Abstract

758,078. Mattresses. BROADBENT, F. K., and NUTTER, G. Jan. 11, 1955 [Oct. 23, 1954], No. 30569/54. Class 52(4). Mattress sections a, b, c, connected by top and bottom flap #, e with press stud fasteners x<SP>1</SP>, x<SP>2</SP>, are removably enclosed by a case with a top k secured around three sides by a sliding clasp fastener u, and preferably quilted. Laced flaps h, j, hold the sections securely in the case and cover their junctions. The outer case may be constructed with the sliding clasp fastener arranged midway of the height of the side walls which may be padded with three layers of padding separated by fabric, with the inner separating walls stiffened by canvas or wire gauze.
