823,166. Quilts. SLATER (QUILTS) Ltd., T., and EVERCHARM Ltd. Jan. 9, 1958 [Feb. 8, 1957], No. 4323/57. Class 142(4) A quilt has a panel 11 attached to it by gussets 12 along the two sides and one end, forming a box-like sheath to enclose the mattress and bed clothes; a zip fastener 18 is provided in one side gusset. Alternatively, the fastener may extend completely round the gussets so that the quilt can be detached for making the bed, the panel 11 remaining permanently under the mattress. The quilt may have a skirt portion to simulate a bedspread, and may have a panel to cover the pillows.
