[Also in Group XIII] The gas outlet tube 33 of a cyclone dust separator for hot gases is double-walled to form a jacket 34 through which cooling air or gas flows. The jacket is enlarged at the ends of the gas path through it to form inlet and outlet chambers 30 for the air or gas, and the walls of the chambers have resilient parts 37 to allow for unequal expansion. The outer cylindrical wall 32 of the separator also has an air or gas jacket.
