Abstract

757,427. Ladder attachments. BUNKER, J. A. March 15, 1955 [April 9, 1954], No. 10500/54. Class 20(2). A plate 1, to extend the area of support for the user's feet of a ladder rung, rests on the rung 3 by one edge 2 and is supported at the outer edge from another rung by a chain or a strut 7 which allows the plate to be adjusted to horizontal position. The edge 2 is bent down to embrace the rung and is of less width than the plate to provide shoulders 5 to engage the ladder side members 7. The edge 2 may engage the rung by spring clips. The plate may be of wood.
