Class 20(2) In a step ladder provided with a tray 6 having extensions 9 pivoted to the side members 10 of the ladder strut, abutting under a tread 13 and connected by limbs 15 to the ladder side members 14 so that when the ladder is folded the tray is moved to a position against the back of the ladder parallel with the side members, the link pivots are mounted in close fitting bearings in the links.
