Abstract

756,402. Rotary brushes. NIELSEN, N. E. May 21, 1954 [Jan. 13, 1954], No. 14982/54. Class 19 In a rotary brush the bristles are stapled to a metal strip S (Fig. 3) which is formed into a ring and held by fingers 5, 13 within a channel formed by two plates 1, 2, one or both of which comprise a hub portion secured to the other disc. The edges of the plates are initially outwardly flared and after the plates are welded together at 12 the edges are bent into parallelism whereby the inner and outer rows of fingers 13, 5 are forced into the bristles. The ends of the metal strip are welded together and to the hub and the bristles are of wire material. Specification 756,401 is referred to.
