Abstract

889,104. Toothbrushes. GAMBINO, J. C. Oct. 3, 1960, No. 33924/60. Class 19. A toothbrush has at least one row of bristles bent towards the axis of the back 11 of the brush, the bends being in the upstanding portions of the bristles. As shown in Fig. 1, the back 11 carries three rows of bristles the outer two of which are set inwardly at an angle of at least 30 degrees. Various arrangements of bristles are shown including those in Figs. 3a, 3f. The handle may be at an angle to the plane of the back of the brush. The bristles may be of nylon, or "Orlon" (Registered Trade Mark), or natural bristles.
