1,008,530. Toothbrush. E. I. DU PONT DE NEMOURS & CO. Oct. 2, 1964, No. 40236/64. Heading A4K. The bristle supporting section 11 of a toothbrush has secondary bristle supporting sections 14, 15 resiliently connected thereto by hinges 12, 13. A single longitudinal row of bristle tufts on the sections 14, 15 are longer than those on the main bristle supporting section 11. A handle 10, sections 11, 14, 15 and hinges 12, 13 may be made integral from an elastic resilient material such as polyoxy methylene so that the sections 11, 14, 15 and handle 10 are rigid and the hinges 12, 13 flexible.
